Letters to Representatives

Title Date
TITLE: NASC and VCS letter Department of Cannabis Control against AB 1885

TITLE: VCS comments against proposed CA regulation, DCC-2025-02-R, limiting of 1 mg THC per package
DESCRIPTION: A signed letter from the VCS stating that the DCC’s choice of the one (1) mg THC limitation in §17350(d) and the underlying rationale are fundamentally flawed on legal, medical, and scientific grounds. Addressing the legal content, VCS believes the proposed regulations should not be adopted for two reasons. 1) California veterinarians must lead cannabis guidance for animals. 2) Practical, risk‑based labeling that prioritizes the safety of animals.

TITLE: VCS and NASC response to FDA Request for Information regarding cannabis in pet products
