Emily Stewart

Emily Stewart is an insatiably curious go-getter who’s diverse background includes fitness instruction, travel writing, non-profit fundraising, and whatever her immediate geography requires. Adept at facilitating online and in-person connections, she’s a natural networker and connector. Her love and talent for writing spans the mundane to the imaginative, white papers to blogs, and social media posts to books. Previous partners include adidas Runtastic, Health Builders Rwanda, Mary’s Place Seattle, Tavour, the YMCA, and many more. She’s a new cat mom and understandably obsessed. Emily is currently located in Salzburg, Austria.

Yuki Konno

Yuki is a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Washington State and is also certified in Veterinary Western Herbal Medicine. She has been working in various specialties such as ER, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Dentistry, etc. for over the past 10 years. Although her career background is in conventional medicine, her passion lies in preventative medicine and geriatric care with natural food therapy (including herbs, CBD, and homemade and raw diets). Yuki has adopted and helped many dogs with chronic illnesses using herbs and dietary intervention; she provides information and consultation to pet owners about natural food medicine through her business: Food Medicine for Animals.

Kristee Mikulski

Kristee Mikulski is our newest volunteer and resides in Longmont, CO with her husband (Andy) and two dogs (Ollie and Marley). After over a decade on the workforce—including three years in the veterinary field, two years in the cannabis industry, and two years with a nonprofit wildlife rescue—Kristee decided to return to school to pursue her bachelor’s degree. She is currently a junior at University of Colorado Boulder who is majoring in Strategic Communications with a focus in Advertising Strategy and minoring in Media Production. Along with her studies, she is a contributing writer and social media assistant for the CU Boulder chapter of Her Campus, an online magazine geared towards the female college demographic. In addition to her passion for animals and cannabis, Kristee is fascinated by social media and enjoys exploring its potential uses for storytelling, community engagement, advertising, and educational purposes.

Kelly Preston

Kelly Preston is an expert digital marketing professional with over twenty-five years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google Ads, Google Analytics, Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, and UX/UI.

She is a presenter at digital marketing conferences sharing best practices for businesses and nonprofits. 

Additionally, she is a certified Veterinary Cannabis Guide and founder of Farley’s Green Paw Consulting. Her mission is to help educate both pet parents and veterinarians, bridging the gap between both parties, with the goal providing alternate plant-based therapy options.
