David Blackwell

Growing up on a farm embedded within me a deep connection to the animals I cared for, and this connection extends beyond the family farm to all animals, whether they’re pets or livestock. The empathy I feel toward animals in need has been the driving force behind my service as a veterinary technician. I strive to learn the most advanced, cutting-edge therapies and techniques so that I may be able to make an even greater difference in the lives of animals everywhere. Having personally felt the depth of the bond between pet and owner, I make it my goal every day when I wake up to improve the lives of as many animals and their owners as possible. When our pets are healthier and happier, those of us that call them family can be a little healthier and happier, too. I hold a degree in Veterinary Technology from Ross College, and I am licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician. I am also a certified Veterinary Cannabis Counselor. I manage my family’s breeding farm, Freedom for the Stallion Spotted Equines, in Northeast Ohio and live with 19 cats, my wife Gwen, and 2 step-daughters.
